Mattress Assembly

Getting your new Sunshine mattress ready is simple. Every mattress includes a personalized layer configuration diagram, and the guide below will walk you through each step of the assembly process. Select your mattress model to begin.

Step 1

Unpack Your Mattress

Remove the mattress layers from the shipping bag. Each layer is labelled to match your personalized configuration.

Step 2

Prepare Your Foundation

Ensure your mattress is being assembled on an appropriate foundation or equivalent support system.

Step 3

Lay Out the Cover

Open the zippered mattress cover and lay it flat on your foundation.

Step 4

Position the Cover

Pull the cover into place so it's ready to receive the mattress layers.

Step 5

Begin Layer Assembly

Start building your mattress using the first layer.

Tip: Tip: Reference the personalized layer diagram included with your mattress.

Step 6

Continue Adding Layers

Continue installing each layer, making sure all corners and edges are properly aligned.

Step 7 (Signature Only)

Additional Support Layers

Signature models include an additional set of personalized support layers. Continue assembling according to your personalized configuration.

Step 8

Install the Comfort Layer

Place the 2" comfort layer on top and align all corners before closing the cover.

Step 9

Complete Assembly

Zip the mattress cover closed.

Tip: Tip: Apply gentle downward pressure near the zipper while closing the cover to reduce tension and make zipping easier.
