Our Story

In 2012, long before “organic” became a trend, my father John became one of the early pioneers of truly non-toxic sleep in Canada, opening a store dedicated entirely to organic mattresses and bedding. Working closely with customers over the years revealed something important: more choice didn’t always lead to better sleep—it often led to overwhelm.

Sunshine was born from that insight.

Rather than offering the largest selection, we chose to offer the best—products that are genuinely organic, thoughtfully designed, and easy to understand.
